King Protea

King protea are large, magnificent and exotic flower grown high on the mountain slopes of Maui.  King protea is a striking flower and will focus any Hawaiian flower assortment.  They grow on a woody shrub and have firm stems with waxy, dark green leaves.  They are a pinkish color and up to six inches or more across.  The have a light, musky fragrance.

Kings are most available in November through May.  We can sometimes find them in summer months with a little notice.

This flower can be dried as a keepsake. King protea must be brought in from Maui so pleas order a week in advance.

Cut flowers ship Monday through Thursday other than holidays.
