Upright heliconia are a bold, bright flower. This tall and weighty Hawaiian flower will anchor this tropical assortment. We surround it with smaller cousins, orange and creamy gold tropic fleur heliconia. Bird of paradise is another tall open flower that blends well with the heliconia.
The more exotic flowers in this assortment come from Maui. Safari sunset are a type of protea with a rose like bud and open flower. It’s foliage is more deep red than green. Finally your Hawaiian flower assortment is filled in with bright yellow pincushion protea.
A tropical flower arrangement would not be complete without foliage. We include both ti leaves and hala leaves. Ti leaves are a Hawaiian staple. Hala leaves are from a tree important to Hawaiian culture. Hala are long and more narrow that ti leaves. They have streaks of yellow down the center.
